Tickets On Sale Tomorrow For Hutchinson’s Summer Tour;
Tour Dates With Kelly Clarkson Follow
Burbank, CA- TLC Cable channel will debut its new summer promotional spot tomorrow – and it rocks! The 30-second spot prominently features Eric Hutchinson’s #1 radio hit “Rock & Roll.” The campaign will run all summer long, through September 7th. Tomorrow also marks the day that tickets go on sale for Hutchinson’s upcoming tour. The news comes on the heels of word from TNT Cable TV that it will extend its summer season promotional spots featuring Hutchinson’s “You Don’t Have to Believe Me” through June 22nd.
“Rock & Roll” has become a multi-format, international smash. The track went to #1 in Australia, #2 in Japan, and is now #1 on the Top Songs chart of the iTunes Store in New Zealand. In the U.S., “Rock & Roll” went Top 15 at HOT AC radio and #1 at Triple A radio.
Eric’s new single, “Ok, It’s Alright With Me,” was #1 Most Added its first week at Triple A radio, where it’s already a Top 20 hit. The accompanying video recently premiered on Yahoo! Music, was the “Video of the Day” on the AOL Music home page and was featured on
Hutchinson ( was the only new artist to score a #1 hit at Triple A radio in 2008. In April 2009, he released Sounds Like This Live – a digital EP showcasing live versions of five songs from his breakthrough album, Sounds Like This, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and has sold more than 110,000 copies in the U.S. Sounds Like This has been hailed as “infectious” (Philadelphia Daily News), ” refreshingly inventive” (, “exuberant” (The Baltimore Sun) and “soulful” (Boston Globe), and Hutchinson has also garnered critical acclaim for his live shows. “Hutchinson is undeniably charismatic, splitting his time between keyboard and guitar, crooning about stormy romances and everyday struggles,” said The Washington Post in a concert review.
