THE USED TO PREMIERE NEW SINGLE “BLOOD ON MY HANDS”
FIRST SINGLE OFF NEW ALBUM ‘ARTWORK’ AVAILABLE JUNE 30TH ONLY ON ITUNES OR THEUSED.NET
Burbank, CA – The Used have announced the release of their new single “Blood On My Hands.” The track, from the band’s upcoming album Artwork, will premiere on iTunes and TheUsed.net on June 30th. Artwork, the fourth studio album for the Orem, Utah four-piece, will be released on Reprise Records this fall.
“Blood On My Hands,” which guitarist Quinn Allman describes as the song that “sums up everything about The Used,” is confined chaos, brutally thrashing one moment and proffering a pop-driven, sing-along chorus the next. “Blood On My Hands” is the first single off Artwork; it hits radio on July 14th.
Starting June 30th, “Blood On My Hands” will be available as a 99 cent single on both iTunes and TheUsed.net. An exclusive limited edition t-shirt featuring full tabs and lyrics of the song will also be available for purchase with the single at TheUsed.net.
The Used are also thrilled to announce the launch of their new website on Tuesday, June 23rd. TheUsed.net is a unique experience for fans that will allow them to create their own site design, upload photos and video, artwork, instrument tabs and more. TheUsed.net will also feature new handwritten guitar tabs leading up to the release, a tourography and a content upload bank where users can upload photos and videos from past shows.
